Waves of Change: A New Design & Mindset
inspiration
Inspired by the trying times of 2020, this collection helps remind us to stay positive. As a small business owner with a physical location which was mandated to shut down, the year was especially challenging. Also for a beach lover who finds solace in the ocean like I do, during the times the beaches were closed it was especially difficult to find balance.
When the beaches finally reopened and I was able to return, I watched the waves roll ashore. I reflected on how to stay positive and "keep our heads above water"! I created this series of wave jewelry to help remind myself and anyone who needs to hear it, "You can't stop the waves from coming in but you can learn to ride them"!
